no names here.

what i like about pinkies is how interchangable they are. it's like they can change their identities at a moment's notice. i think naming them would take something away from their transformative quality.

i like to name them with only japanese names, i usually get my names from mangas and animes
and like to give them suitable names like Hana into Momo

Mainly a lot of mine are Japanese oriented, simply because pinkies are japanese  But I will sometimes name some with names I randomly think of or from video games, manga or anime. I name my pinkies on order too!  Hopefully the names will stick. 

I like diminutive boy names for the most part: Frankie, Johnny, Jimmy, Vinnie, Sonny, Teddy, etc. For some reason I just think the fact that most of my girls are very young and cute-looking makes those names seem really sweet in context. 

  well...I just stare at them for a minute or so and then the perfect name just pops out of my head.

Usually, a name will just pop in my head  So that's what I call them then.

Well i normally name my dolls with the first thing that pops into my head. Sometimes i use a name i really like, or borrow a name from a character of mine.

In the case of my pinky's i decided to name them after the japanesse numbers. Ich, Ni, San, Chi, Go, Ruok, Sachi, Hachi, Ku, Ju...

But when i got Icchi, i thought Ich sounded kind of odd...and then the name Icchi came to mind so she became Icchi. (which is still related to ich) Then i got the twins, so the first girl out of the package got the name Ni...but that sounded boring so since they were sister to Ichi (and for whatever reason i was thinking of the sisters from darkstalkers lei lei and whatever her sisters name is) i named her Ni-ichi and the other twin should have been San...but Soo-Ichi sounded better...so Soo-icchi it is.

so my next girl will be named San (or maybe be sen after the spirited away character) and the next one will be Chi. :D

Yeah i'm weird! LOL!

I am influenced by Finnish culture, and I usually incorperate things that are important to me into their names. They sort of represent a part of myself in that way. 

Ramika was special (being an aqua-haired girl myself...), and I knew her name had to have a musical influence. So I named her Siiri. My inspiration (as indirect as it was) is from The Rasmus song "In My Life" from a specific lyric (my vicoty is your defeat) which was taken from the Killer song "Sorry For You".  This song is from the album "Sickeningly Pretty and Unpleasantly Vain", which I thought was like her personality. The singer of Killer is Siiri Nordon, hence.... Siiri.

Yoshiko was also awesome, with her grey hair and red eyes. For some reason, she reminded me of Eicca Eicca Toppinen. So, her name is now Eicca.

Yeah, so that was long. 

I have my pinkys stick with their original names unless I have two that are the same. With my two Ruis, I had one stick with Rui and I named the postpet one Satoka. I know this sounds odd, but I look at all those long lists of japanese names and just choose one that sounds nice.

i want to name my pinkys, but i keep thinking that if i change their hair or something... does that change their name
