While checking out (and cleaning up) some of the Photo Week topics, I'm finding quite a few notices from Photobucket, stating "This Photobucket site has not been active in over 90 days." Apparently Photobucket deactivates inactive accounts... which means your pictures disappear from Pinky:st .com... and from anywhere else you have them linked.
I'll be checking various discussions for expired photo links over the next couple of weeks (end of December 2009), and deleting posts which have non-working photo links. If you use Photobucket as your primary photo hosting site, PLEEEEZE visit the site and reactivate your account, or edit your Pinky:st.com posts with links to your current photo host.
And if you have any friends who are members, and you know they haven't visited Pinky:st.com in a while, please give 'em a little nudge and suggest they drop by to say hi!
Just trying to keep it from looking like a ghost town around here.

LoggedIn addition to the missing PhotoBucket pics, some of us have apparently reorganized our personal web sites and moved some files around... resulting in faulty photo links.
A few of us have also purged our Flickr accounts, or exceeded the photo limit for "free" accounts, resulting in... disappearing photos here.
If you happen to go browsing the site looking for your photos and discover that you can no longer find your old photo posts, chances are the photo links were expired and the post has been deleted. I can't recall a photo post having been deleted for any reason other than faulty links, so if you can't find your pics, it means your pics were no longer showing up, not that you were being "naughty" or anything.
Before editing or eliminating photo posts, we make every effort to directly access the original hosting site, to ensure that it's not a temporary glitch or a simple redirection error that's causing the problem. We also check your stats to see if you've been active lately on the forums. If there's a problem with a photo link from a recently active forum member, we'll drop you a note before deleting any defective links.
If you can't find your old photos... you can always post 'em again!
